OKLAHOMA CITY, March 24 - CoreVault™ announced today that is has partnered with GET Imaging, an Oklahoma City-based document conversion company. "We are excited to partner with GET Imaging," says Woodie Wallace, VP of Operations for CoreVault, "in part because they are a local company, but primarily for their stellar reputation and market presence in Oklahoma and surrounding states."
GET Imaging provides high volume document scanning and imaging services for businesses of all sizes. They specialize in converting paper records, microfilm, microfiche and aperture cards to digital images. GET Imaging serves organizations like the University of Oklahoma, Federal Aviation Administration, and the State of Oklahoma, to name a few.
"Partnering with CoreVault enables GET Imaging to expand our service offerings to our clients. During the past eight years, we have provided document conversion services to more than 600 customers. Many of them can now derive the additional benefit of a seamless transition from digital conversion to backup and recovery of their digitized data in CoreVault's secure, encrypted environment. Adding CoreVault's product offerings to our suite of services broadens our market reach, and allows us to offer a more complete solution to our clients," says Scott Britton, GET Imaging's VP of Sales.
Market research indicates that a company's data storage needs will increase on average at a rate of 30 to 40% annually.* Despite this phenomenal data growth rate, many companies still back up their data on tape or disk. The Gartner Group, a nationally-recognized research firm, says, "34 percent of companies fail to test their backups, and of those that do, 77 percent have found tape backup failures." In recent years, escalation of natural disasters worldwide, increases in U.S. regulatory mandates like HIPAA and Sarbanes- Oxley, and the high cost of human resources continue to constrain small to mid-sized employers. Data management has become critical to the success of most companies.
"The combined service offerings of GET Imaging and CoreVault will provide an immediate, customer-driven, automated process for backing up and retrieving their data in a secure, reliable environment," says Wallace.
